Jon Stewart and the 9/11 First Responders' Bill

Those who were *ahem* critical of Jon Stewart's Rally to Restore as being a messageless medium might be thrilled to read this article in the NY Times about the success of Stewart and The Daily Show to bring the 9/11 Healthcare Bill for First Responders into the public sphere. The initiative ultimately resulted in the bill's passage before Congress took its first earned vacation in quite some time.
