More Evidence of Greatness

I am the Joakim Noah of NCAA Bracket Selectin'

As if I needed any more empirical proof to show my ubiquitous mastery over all things contained within the ambit of humanity, I entered an NCAA Tournament Pool and not only won first place within a group of 24 people, but also picked in the 99th percentile of all brackets in the Yahoo galaxy.

My bracket, Scooter’sBracketsHaveChains (last month's homage to the newly incarcerated I. Lewis "Scooty" Libby), included a correct pick of this year’s college basketball champion (Florida), a correction prediction of the entire Final Four (Georgetown, UCLA, Florida, Ohio State), as well as seven of the eight teams in the Elite Eight. Had I not relied on the sentimental pick of my alma mater George Washington to reach the Round of 16, I easily would have been in the top 5000 out of probably 1212120121 total brackets.

Most notably, when instructed to pick the eventual winner of the NCAA Tourney, I was also prompted to predict the score of the title game in case of a tiebreaker. My guess was Florida 84- Ohio State 77, a mere TWO points off of the actual outcome, which was 84-75. In short, I am the greatest. And the fact that no one bet absolutely any money WHATSOEVER in this pool is totally inconsequential and does not mitigate any joy from this triumph. No seriously.
