Happy Ron Jeremy Day...
by Adam | Wednesday 7 February 2007

To My Loyal Readers,
A momentous...uh...moment transpired yesterday afternoon in the corporate burrows of my newest home. Surrounded by my peers and a mostly female crowd, I assisted in an author signing of great consequence, not just to me, but more (in actuality) to the (w)hole of humanity.
Over the course of two hours, I watched adoring fans (employees within the company alone) surround a new author, Ron Jeremy, and ask for him to sign their books, rulers, and even their lower necks in the office place. I watched new friends line-up to mouth-kiss Ron Jeremy, I took pictures for co-workers that I probably shouldn't have, but I also managed a realization of my own. There are great experiences beyond the individual, those celebrations of life that are shared by many people or many, many partners.
I turned to Mr. Jeremy's book, The Hardest (Working) Man in Showbiz, and found the embodiment of this idea in print in the first sentence of the prologue: "It isn't noon yet and I've already had sex with fourteen women." And instantly, I felt grateful.
I just want to thank each of you for accompanying me through the years, through the shared experiences, good times and bad, the fun, awkward and fluid, dirty and pure, and I continue to hope that we all may achieve our dreams just like my newest hero, Ron Jeremy.
Sincerely,
Adam

One would think that the most important area of this picture would be the part below the waist.

but, did he believe you when you said that you had never heard of him before "someone" told you his social relevance?

I wonder, did it take long to get that picture taken? Was it hard to arrange?
Ok, I've worn that joke clean through...

Dude, you totally asked for it. You should really be thanking the rest of us for showing such unbelievable restraint.
