Jeffrey Goldberg...oh and the Prime Minister

At the General Assembly, which I neglected to finish writing about because I am all Jewed out right now, I went to a forum which featured Michael Parks, the former Editor-in-Chief of the Los Angeles Times, a spokeswoman from the IDF, and Jeffrey Goldberg of New Yorker fame, all of whom spoke to us about the way the media covered the war with Hizbollah-blah-blah, who cares? I met Jeffrey Goldberg!

I essentially delayed the beginning of the forum because I made him sign my copy of his new book Prisoners: A Muslim & A Jew Across the Middle East Divide.

He was very down to earth and witty and was completely off-put by me leering at him from crowd and later hunting him down post-forum for the terrible picture that stradles the top of this posting.

The following day, I heard the Prime Minister of Israel speak.

I even shook his hand.

Just putting it out there....I would bet 400 shekels on Jeffrey Goldberg to win in a fight with Ehud Olmert.
